Conference Location

While the presentations have been amazing so far, I must say the location could have been better. I've been to a number of conferences (as I know many of you have) and for me, the conferences that have locations that have many attractions within walking distance are more enjoyable to me. I don't want to 'dis Stamats in anyway, because the sessions have been great the Hotel itself is great, just not much to do. Anyway, that's all. Any thoughts? Disagreements?

Definitely would have been nice to have some amenities closer (food, shopping, sightseeing, beach). Hotel was great though, and the wireless internet worked.. which is rare at most conferences!
